The Shack is located on Chilambula Road in Lilongwe, between the Riverside Hotel and the Lingazi Inn.
Entering through a slightly hidden entrance, you will find two beach volleyball courts, two bars with ample space, and a big screen for watching sports.
Beach volleyball league matches are played here every Wednesday, and the place gradually starts to attract people after 6pm, becoming even busier after 8pm.
It is very rare to see people of many different nationalities gathered in one place on a weekday evening in Lilongwe.
Even if beach volleyball isn’t your thing, you can watch the matches with a drink in hand and socialise with the people around you.
The Shack also hosts a variety of music events on weekends.
