Visual Arts Association of Malawi (VAAM) Shop is an art gallery surrounded by beautiful trees and nature in Lilongwe Wildlife Center.
Visitors can enjoy unique and gorgeous art ranging from paintings, sculptures, earrings, clothing, and more from Malawi.
The gallery, run by Lawrence Dingilo Daka, opened in June 2021 to provide artists who have been hard hit by the dramatic drop in tourism caused by Covid-19 with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.
Daka explains, “VAAM is run by artists, and there is no middleman.
That is why we can offer such reasonable prices on our uniquely crafted art pieces and all creative products.”
The Visual Arts Association of Malawi (VAAM) Shop is a lovely place with handmade artwork and a warm and welcoming staff.
