Dedza is a neat and relaxed district, situated 85km southeast of Lilongwe, 230km north of Blantyre, and not much further from the border with Mozambique.

Namalikhate Lodge is a facility within the Mua Mission and Kungoni Centre, opened in 2004 to provide accommodation, dining and conference facilities.
Overlooking the Nadzipokwe River, it is set in a tranquil setting surrounded by an attractive, flower-filled garden.
